MUSCLE GROWTH

Therapy OVERVIEW

Russian stimulation is a form of high-frequency electrical wave stimulation that uses electricity to contract muscle tissue. After injury or surgery, you may be experiencing muscle weakness.  Russian stimulation is used to help improve the contraction of your muscles.  Russian currents are alternating currents (AC) at a frequency of 2.5 kHz that are burst modulated at a frequency of 50 Hz with a 50% duty cycle.

WHY

Why would you do this test?  Muscle growth stimulation is used in sports to help athletes get stronger.  Muscle growth uses electrical muscle stimulation that produces a similar signal that the body produces under maximum forces.  Using stimulation we convince your muscle that it is lifting the max weight it can.  The muscle responds by growing as if you were lifting extremely heavy weights.

RECOMMENDED

Who is this test recommended for?  Muscle growth is only recommended for top athlete that have hit plateau's and are unable to push through the block naturally.

HOW OFTEN

How often should you repeat this test?  Muscle growth training is recommended only twice a week on any specific muscle group and is not meant to replace lifting or training.

BODY PARTS

Which body parts are or can be trained?  Russian stimulation muscle growth can be applied to any muscle or muscle group in an athletes body.

RESULTS

What are the results of this experience?  Muscle will grow and become stronger.  The same fatigue and muscle soreness will follow each session as if the athlete pushed their muscles in a weight lifting session.

SUMMARY

What does this help to improve?  As an athlete it is frustrating to plateau in competition, training or practice.  Sometimes training gains can be a mental block, but using muscle growth training may be able to make that block or plateau be short lived.
